The Barbershop Harmony Society holds various contests where chorus' and quartets are evaluated in various catetgories (Music, Singing, Performance).
There is a Division qualifying contest, followed by a District contest
and lastly an International contest.
Several Members of Lakeside Harmony have appeared at both Division and District contests.
